I bought a spare belt when the scooter was new but when the primary belt broke, the spare also broke immediately even though it had never been used. No sense having a spare since they get brittle with age, not usage.

In 11-12 years, this is only the 2nd belt I’ve needed to order. The only reason I’m ordering it, is to have a backup on hand if necessary.

It is a good belt. Replacing requires almost complete disassembly of the scooter. Not happy with maintainability of the scooter.
