Strength without unnecessary bulk
Frame materials and triangular design
TravelScoot frames use TIG-welded, heat-treated, aircraft-grade 7005 aluminum. The triangular structure distributes the rider’s weight across the frame instead of concentrating the entire load at two rear welds.
A simpler folding process
Single-hinge folding mechanism
Release the seat’s quick-release clamp, remove the seat, and press the frame’s locking pin. The scooter collapses in seconds without a complicated collection of loose frame pieces.
The seat can also be separated into smaller components when additional cargo space is needed.
Several ways to transport it
Storage and travel configurations
Keep the Escape mostly assembled for convenience or break it down further when space is limited.
Battery options for different trips
Lithium-ion batteries
All batteries currently sold by TravelScoot USA function with every TravelScoot model.
Air-travel-approved battery: intended for customers who fly and designed to comply with common airline mobility-device requirements.
Higher-capacity battery: approximately 2.4 times the capacity, intended for longer land and sea travel, but not approved for air travel.

Compact but comfortable
Escape dimensions
The frame is compact enough for common travel environments while allowing the seat and controls to be adjusted for a wide range of riders. Ground clearance is approximately 3 inches.

Stability and responsible operation
Designed for confident, everyday use
The TravelScoot’s triangular frame distributes the rider’s weight across its three-point structure, while adjustable seating allows the scooter to be fitted to the rider. Its compact size makes it maneuverable in airports, stores, cruise terminals, and other pedestrian environments.
Like every three-wheel mobility scooter, it should be operated responsibly. Slow down before turning, travel straight up and down slopes, and avoid sharp turns or sudden changes in direction. Loose gravel and mud are not recommended. Wet grass, steep inclines, deep ruts, and uneven surfaces require additional care.
A properly fitted scooter is important for both comfort and confident operation. Review our sizing guide, or explore our demonstration and three-day trial options before purchasing.
Traction and serviceability
Rear-wheel drive and solid tires

Direct-drive hub motor
The motor is housed inside the left rear wheel. Placing the drive wheel beneath the rider’s weight helps improve traction compared with front-drive designs on common uneven surfaces and inclines.

No-flat solid tires
Wide solid-rubber tires eliminate flats and help on pavement, suitable grass, hard-packed gravel, and moderately uneven ground.

Fit the seat to the rider
Adjustable seating
The seat rotates for easier mounting, while cushion and backrest positions can be adjusted for comfort and support.

Rotating seat
Release the lever clamp and turn the seat to make getting on and off easier. Clamp tension can be adjusted for the rider’s hand strength.

Height-adjustable backrest
Position the cushion to provide support at the lower back, mid-back, or another preferred location.
Special sizing options
Configurations are available for Little People, children, short-statured riders, tall riders, and some riders above the standard warranty limit.

Terrain capability
The Escape works well on pavement and can also handle grass, packed dirt, hard-packed gravel and cobblestones under suitable conditions.
Loose gravel and mud are not recommended. Wet grass, steep slopes and rough ground can reduce traction and stability. Choose a route appropriate for the scooter and your own abilities.
